Scientist Andrei Skalny did not find potential in the American theory.

An associate professor at the RUDN University Department of Medical Elementology considers the hypothesis of the resurrection of the dead to be “science fiction.”

In an interview with RT, the expert commented on the theory of American scientist Sam Parnia, who is confident that death is a reversible condition.

Skalny noted that the human brain cannot survive without oxygen for a long time. But the expert acknowledged that some organs do take longer to deteriorate.

The scientist admitted that the American theory suggests freezing the bodies of the deceased, since the brain can do without oxygen for only a few minutes.

In some cases, people survive clinical death, but their brain is in a vegetative state.

The main problem with the theory is that there is currently no way to completely preserve the structure of cells and tissues of the brain and other organs.

Freezing is not a reliable method, since science does not yet know of any cases where it was possible to successfully defrost and bring back to life a person who was in cryopreservation.

Therefore, at this stage of development of medical technologies, the American theory looks like “science fiction” that has no potential.
