Roskomnadzor recommended that owners of Internet resources in the Russian Federation abandon the Cloudflare CDN service.
Cloudflare has enabled TLS ECH technology by default, which allows you to bypass blocking and access data prohibited in Russia.
The agency explained that this extension violates Russian legislation and is limited to technical means of countering threats, the Roskomnadzor website reports.
Cloudflare provides protection for websites from attacks and speeds up page loading.
Using TLS ECH technology hides connection information, making it difficult to monitor and control access to restricted resources.
Roskomnadzor advised website owners to disable TLS ECH or switch to domestic CDN services that ensure secure operation of resources and protection from computer attacks.
