Hackers can use an infected device to commit cybercrime.

When trying to find them, experts will get to the smartphone of a person who did not even know that his gadget was being used remotely.

Malware was found in the Spotify Plus music app, a modified version of the WhatsApp messenger, a number of games, the Wuta Camera photo enhancement app, and the Max Browser browser.

The total number of downloads of infected applications is estimated at 11 million. They were downloaded not only in Russia, but also in Brazil, Vietnam, Ecuador, and Mexico.
