Chinese physics experts have released details of progress in an experiment to create a unique magnetic field.
According to scientists, the magnetic field is generated inside the experimental thermonuclear reactor Huanliu-3.
The physicists noted: “We are conducting such experiments with the aim of obtaining clean and unlimited energy in the future,” as reported by Hightech magazine.
The scientists also emphasized that their Huanliu-3 reactor is also called an “artificial Sun” due to the principle of its operation.
Development of technology
As experts noted, to date their development does not yet have the ability to produce large amounts of energy.
In addition, instability in the operation of the Huanliu-3 reactor has been noted.
Nevertheless, scientists assure that their innovation is promising and may become quite widespread in the future.
The physicists added: “We will continue to improve and develop our research.”
