Summer heat affects both humans and electronics.
This leads to gadgets overheating despite the built-in cooling system.
Technical Director of the MTS Powerbank service Yurent Ilya Kazakov told Izvestia how to properly use gadgets in hot weather.
He explained that in hot weather, temperatures outpace the cooling system of devices, which creates risks of damage to internal components and deformation.
According to Kazakov, this leads to a reduction in battery life and swelling.
The expert recommends monitoring the condition of gadgets in the summer.
In hot weather, devices need to be given as much space as possible.
Kazakov said that there should be at least 5-10 cm of free space around gadgets.
He also reminded about the need to keep air vents open.
