Fraudsters have begun using a new method to steal accounts on Gosuslugi.
This scheme was reported on the Telegram channel of the Integral Research Institute.
Fraudsters contact Russians via messenger.
They pretend to be specialists from the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System (UMIAS).
Using a chat bot in Telegram, the attackers send a link to a web resource where you can supposedly make an appointment with a doctor.
If a person follows the link and enters the requested data in the window that opens, then the scammers receive it.
With their help, attackers gain access to the victim’s account on “Gosuslugi”.
The fraudsters end up with passport data, credit history and other confidential information about a person.
