Analysts from research company Canalys have predicted an increase in smartphone shipments in 2024.
According to experts, the final result will likely exceed all early expectations.
On its official website, Canalys writes: “Shipping will reach 1.2 billion units, which is incredible.”
It is also emphasized that by the end of 2024, the growth in smartphone shipments could amount to 5 percent compared to the results of 2023.
Increase sales
This situation is also expected to trigger a moderate growth of 2 percent in the said issue.
It is emphasized that global smartphone shipments will be overestimated, and this situation will continue from 2025 to 2028.
In addition, analysts pointed out that sales of Huawei gadgets are confidently recovering. Xiaomi shows low sales results.
The first place in terms of sales is reserved for gadgets from the Apple and Samsung brands.
It is also predicted that the share of devices with 5G support will grow and amount to 87 percent of total sales.
