Experts: 11 million Android apps infected with dangerous virus

Experts from Kaspersky Lab have reported that an estimated 11 million Android applications are infected with a dangerous virus.

According to analysts, this refers, in particular, to the Necro Trojan program.

Experts explained: “The virus may also be found in official software,” as reported by the foreign portal Securelist .

It is indicated that the Trojan, once in the memory of the infected device, begins to download unnecessary advertising, create subscriptions and launch other similar processes.

As analysts point out, the presence of malware was found in Max Browser and in modifications of Minecraft, Stumble Guys, Car Parking Multiplayer and Melon Sandbox.

In addition, it is reported that the virus has penetrated some messengers.

Experts have urged people not to install modified applications for security reasons, and to use the security systems built into Google Play and Android.
