Saving passwords in your browser may seem convenient, but it can be unsafe.

Storing passwords in your browser increases the risk of personal data leaks.

Attackers can easily gain access to account data and bank card numbers if passwords are saved in the browser, RIA Novosti writes.

Leading cybersecurity analyst at MTS Web Services, Dzhamil Medzhidov, warned that storing passwords in a browser is not safe.

Logins and passwords stored in a special file in the browser may be accessible to intruders.

If your device is hacked, your passwords and other sensitive data will be at risk.

Medzhidov advises storing passwords in the browser only for unimportant services.

It is also better to enter the last characters of the password manually so that the browser does not save them automatically.
