A cybersecurity expert has given a disappointing forecast for the future of the popular video hosting site.
YouTube crashes will continue to happen. They will happen more often.
This forecast was given by expert Sergey Belov in an interview with the NEWS.ru portal. He believes that the pressure on the Google video service from the Russian authorities will continue to increase.
The problem lies in the unwanted content that the video hosting administration refuses to remove.
Deputy Alexander Khinshtein also previously stated that YouTube management approves of blocking the channels of Russian bloggers, artists and media outlets.
Belov sees the preconditions for the American video hosting service to gradually be “cut off” in Russia.
YouTube management is in no hurry to somehow correct the situation and settle this issue with the Russian side.
The expert noted that methods for bypassing problems associated with YouTube failures are currently gaining popularity among domestic users.
