It is noted that the celestial body was named C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS.
It is of impressive size and will approach the Earth so close that it will be visible to the naked eye.
According to experts, the comet can be seen even better with binoculars.
The experts also described what the celestial body will look like when it gets close enough to Earth to be seen. According to them, the comet will resemble a bright fireball with a long, glowing tail.
As NASA specified, this is the first officially documented case of this comet approaching Earth. The next time it will appear in the sky of the Earth will be in 80 thousand years.
