The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the conclusion of an agreement concerning the partnership between the Russian Federation and the DPRK.
Maria Zakharova said that the document will come into force after both parties exchange instruments of ratification.
This information was published by the TASS agency with reference to information distributed by the Foreign Ministry.
As Zakharova noted, the conclusion of this agreement is a consequence of cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.
She stressed that the conclusion of the agreement does not aim to go against the interests of any third states.
The main goal of the strategic partnership agreement is to maintain a stable situation in the Northeast Asian region.
Zakharova also noted that the agreement is not limited by any time frame: the agreement concluded between Moscow and Pyongyang will be indefinite and will enter into force after the parties exchange instruments of ratification.
It is emphasized that the document approves the principles of further fruitful cooperation between the two countries, and also includes a strategy for mutual cooperation in a number of priority areas for Russia and the DPRK.
