The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry responded to a question about Moscow’s plans to deploy missiles in Asian countries.
Maria Zakharova spoke on this topic on Wednesday, November 27.
The diplomat emphasized that Russia sent a clear signal to the United States and its allies regarding intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles (INF), TASS reports.
Zakharova believes that Washington and its satellites will draw the right conclusions.
As for plans to deploy intermediate-range missiles in Asian countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not see the need for detailed discussions on this topic.
“It seems to me that we need to now concentrate on the signal, let’s say, the ‘message’ that was sent,” the agency’s representative said.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Russia could deploy its missiles in Asia in response to US actions.
