Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin commented on the victory of the Christian Democratic Union party in Germany.

As previously stated, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's party received only 7.3 percent of the positive votes.

Volodin noted in his official Telegram channel: “The Germans do not want to lose their country, which its own ruler has drawn into conflicts.”

According to the official, the fact that the Christian Democratic Union won indicates that Germans want to see Scholz resign.

In addition, the parliamentarian emphasized that Scholz's partners from the Green faction did not get into parliament, among others.

The Chairman of the State Duma shared his conviction that the government of the German Chancellor is losing popularity among the German population.

The Christian Democratic Union, like the Alternative for Germany, is an opposition party.
