State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin initiated the extradition of former head of Rusnano Anatoly Chubais to Russia.
He spoke about Chubais being taken and extradited to the Russian Federation.
Vyacheslav Volodin said: “Take him, extradite Chubais,” writes RBC .
Volodin also criticized the reform of the electric power industry in Russia carried out by Chubais.
The State Duma Speaker proposed to look into the statements of previous years, which called for handing over the electric power sector to private hands.
Volodin believes that such statements lead to the transfer of money into pockets and the purchase of real estate abroad.
According to the State Duma speaker, ultimately all this was lost.
Previously, nothing had been reported in Russia about criminal cases being opened against Chubais.
The former head of Rusnano left the country in December 2020. He had been at the helm of the company since 2010.
In 2022, Chubais announced that he was leaving the post of special presidential representative for relations with international organizations at his own request.
