Chairman of the National Parliament of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man assessed the prospects for cooperation between his country and Russia.
According to the consul, both countries should expand their relations.
Tran Thanh Man explained: “I hope that mutual understanding and political trust between Vietnam and the Russian Federation will only grow stronger,” as reported by TASS .
According to the ambassador, relations between the two countries will ultimately benefit both states.
Vietnam's position
As the consul pointed out, the National Assembly of Vietnam operates jointly with the two chambers of the Russian parliament.
It follows from this statement that both sides strive to achieve the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
In addition, Tran Thanh Man emphasized that during his current visit to Russia he intends to meet with the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to the consul, this meeting will take place within the framework of the third session of the interparliamentary commission on cooperation.
