It has become known what new sanctions measures the United States of America is going to resort to.
Washington has announced the introduction of secondary sanctions, threatening anyone who risks cooperating with Russian companies.
This was reported by the RIA Novosti agency, citing information distributed by the department.
It is noted that the lists published by the Ministry of Finance contain the names of individuals and legal entities that are already under sanctions.
However, the Ministry of Finance clarified that now cooperation with persons on the list may threaten third parties with secondary sanctions.
The decision to impose restrictions will be made by the US Secretary of the Treasury after discussion with the Secretary of State.
The restrictions may apply to companies that enter into transactions with sanctioned Russian organizations.
Earlier it was reported that the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions against representatives of Kaspersky Lab.
