US detects Russian and Chinese Air Force planes flying over Alaska

The North American Aerospace Defense Command commented on the flight of Russian and Chinese Air Force aircraft in the Alaskan air defense zone.

NORAD forces detected, tracked and intercepted two Russian Tu-95 aircraft and two Chinese H-6 military aircraft.

The Russian and Chinese aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter the American and Canadian zones, the NORAD press service reported.

NORAD fighters from the US and Canada were deployed to intercept Russian and Chinese aircraft.

According to the US military, Russian and Chinese activity in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone is not considered a threat.
