The chairman of the Turkish Vatan party, Dogu Perincek, said that the United States wants to weaken Turkey's cooperation with Russia and China.

According to him, Washington allegedly offered Ankara the role of patron over the Kurdish region.

In reality, they want to drag Turkey into a risky game in order to violate its territorial integrity, he explained. RIA Novosti writes about this.

Perincek said the US was considering handing over control of the Kurdish region to Turkey.

However, according to him, this could allegedly threaten to increase tensions and violate Turkey's territorial integrity.

The Turkish politician points out that such a “trap” could undermine Turkey’s relations with Russia and China.

Perincek believes that Ankara risks separating itself from potential allies if it continues to strengthen cooperation with Washington.
