The President of the Russian Federation did not ignore the high-profile incident involving the founder of the Telegram messenger.

According to the head of state, the actions of the French authorities are too selective.

Vladimir Putin made this comment regarding the incident during the plenary session of the WEF, his words are reported by the RIA Novosti agency.

The President noted that since Pavel Durov was treated in a similar manner, others should be treated accordingly, for example, by placing them under house arrest.

Otherwise, it turns out that the actions of the French authorities are not entirely clear due to their selective nature, Putin emphasized.
