It has become known what accusations the West intends to bring against Russia.
Moscow is going to be accused of using chemical weapons on the battlefield.
This was stated by Vladimir Tarabrin, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the Russian ambassador to The Hague.
As RIA Novosti reports, the Permanent Representative did not rule out that the West will soon take steps to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons.
It is noted that a special mission to Ukraine may be launched for this purpose. The US, Germany, as well as the Kyiv authorities and the OPCW are working on its creation.
They [the West – editor’s note] are actively working with the OPCW technical secretariat, Tarabrin emphasized.
The issue of creating a special mission could have been discussed during the 106th session of the organization’s executive council, which took place from July 8 to 12.
According to the Russian representative, the Russian side, in turn, is trying to prove the groundlessness of such accusations by citing specific examples.
