Sheremet thus responded to the statement by Pentagon press secretary Patrick Ryder about the use of long-range US weapons by the Ukrainian side for strikes on Russian territory.
The deputy emphasized that the United States considers the territory annexed by the Russian Federation to be Ukrainian and is thereby giving new impetus to the conflict.
Sheremet believes that the West wants the conflict to escalate into a full-scale war.
Earlier, the UN accused Russia of interfering with the European Union's satellite systems.
