The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the cancellation of Ramzan Kadyrov’s order “to take no prisoners.”
This order has been cancelled, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
She noted that during a conflict, military personnel have the right to surrender to the Russian Armed Forces, writes NEWS.ru.
Zakharova explained that those who wish to surrender have the right to do so.
She also said that the military has the right to surrender regardless of the position of their own leadership.
Earlier, Kadyrov stated that he had cancelled the order given earlier to the Akhmat special forces.
According to the politician, he made the appropriate decision and the order was cancelled.
Kadyrov promised the servicemen who surrender to the Russian Armed Forces that they will live.
