The Russian Embassy in Sweden has commented on the accusations made by Swedish media.
According to the diplomatic mission, Stockholm's Russophobic policy has already "brainwashed" citizens and driven them to paranoia.
The diplomats expressed this opinion on their Telegram channel.
The reaction from representatives of the diplomatic department in Stockholm was caused by a publication that was previously posted on the pages of the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper.
It states that unknown persons entered the water tower in the local commune without causing any harm. However, a Russian trace was found in this crime.
The embassy, in turn, pointed out to the publication that it supports the lies and slander that the Swedish authorities tend to spread.
The diplomatic mission also sympathized with the citizens of Sweden who are being held captive by disinformation.
They [the Swedes – editor’s note] have become paranoid, seeing the “hand of the Kremlin” in everything, the Telegram channel sums up.
