Russia has closed entry into the Russian Federation for almost a hundred US citizens.
The corresponding decision was published by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Telegram.
The agency's representatives noted that Moscow continues to introduce retaliatory measures to the policies pursued by Joe Biden and his associates.
The ban on entry into the Russian Federation for US citizens is called a reaction to Washington’s “Russophobic course”, part of which has become “carpet” sanctions against Russians.
92 Americans have lost their right to enter Russia. We are talking about journalists, including those from such major publications as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Russian “stop list” included employees of “liberal-globalist” editorial offices who were involved in disseminating false information about the Russian Armed Forces.
The decision was made not only against representatives of the American press. It included, for example, the commander of the US space systems, representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the State Department.
The Foreign Ministry added that this is not the last expansion of the list. The list of people who are banned from entering the Russian Federation will be expanded in the future.
