Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov responded to Donald Trump's statement about a possible strike on the center of Moscow.

He noted that such emotional statements can often be heard during the election campaign in the United States.

When asked whether Trump had spoken to Putin about the threats, Peskov replied that the Kremlin does not disclose details of personal conversations, RBC writes.

He also added that Russia maintains a responsible position and does not comment on high-level conversations.

Donald Trump announced strikes on Moscow in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

The former US President stressed that he warned Moscow of the consequences if actions in the SVO zone continue.

Trump did not say under what circumstances this dialogue took place.

He stressed that he had a good relationship with Putin.
