The department's statement emphasizes that Indian citizens must leave the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation promptly.

The recommendations on the website of the Indian diplomatic mission in the Russian Federation also state that the temporary departure of citizens is related to recent security incidents.

The Indian Embassy requests its citizens to take necessary precautions without delay.
