British Prime Minister and Conservative Party leader Rishi Sunak has acknowledged the Tories' defeat in the election.
The ruling Conservative Party has conceded defeat in the election following the victory of Keir Starmer's Labour.
Sunak will travel to London before leaving his post as prime minister, The Guardian reports.
The politician confirmed that he was leaving his post after his party's defeat in the elections.
After the ballots are counted in most constituencies, Labour has 353 parliamentary seats, the Tories have about 77 seats, and the Liberal Democrats have 49 seats.
