The politician described it as a conversation between two friends.
Aleksandar Vucic shared his impressions with journalists, TASS reports.
According to him, the telephone conversation was quite long and was marked by a personal note. The leaders exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade from the Nazi invaders.
During the conversation, the heads of state discussed other political leaders and exchanged their views on economic and political issues. The Serbian head of state received confirmation that his country will receive sufficient gas this winter.
In the conversation between Vucic and Putin, the idea was repeatedly voiced that what is good for Serbia is in turn good for the Russians.
Vucic noted that Putin, like no one else, understands the position that his country holds and the burden that this places on Serbia.
