Intelligence officers Anna and Artem Dultsev told how their detention in Slovenia took place.

The couple returned to Russia as part of a large-scale prisoner exchange that took place in early August.

The intelligence officers gave an interview to Rossiyskaya Gazeta and told what had happened in their lives in recent years. During the conversation with journalists, they recalled how the special services detained them.

The security forces surrounded the Dultsevs' house and burst into it from two sides. One group knocked down the door, and the second broke the window.

Anna called what was happening then a serious forceful takeover. She admitted that the security forces were counting on catching them "in the act of doing something serious, catching them red-handed."

Artem said that at that moment he was working on the computer and was not doing anything extremely important or secret at that moment.

The couple believes that the security forces acted on orders from the Slovenian leadership, which received a "hint from the Anglo-Saxons." Anna emphasized that in such matters the English "behave very actively."
