State Duma deputies from the A Just Russia – For Truth party will introduce a bill on punishing migrants for violence.
According to the document, migrants will have their Russian citizenship revoked for violent actions directed towards Russians.
It also follows from the text of the regulatory legal act: “It is proposed to expand the list of crimes according to which Russian citizenship may be revoked,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
Among other things, the decree proposes confiscating a Russian passport if there is an attempt on the life of a representative of the Russian government.
New decree
The authors of the initiative noted: “In some localities, women are increasingly afraid to go out on the street in the evening.”
According to the deputies, the reason is the presence of a large number of migrants.
According to the initiators of the new decree, the above-described problem is quite acute and must be resolved within a short time.
The deputies also called the fact that migrants are capable of committing serious crimes against Russians unacceptable.
