Russia has banned entry into its territory for 99 Canadian citizens who, according to the agency, are involved in the development and implementation of Russophobic sentiments in Canada.
Russia has traditionally had a kind attitude towards the people of Canada, the publication notes.
At the same time, wanting to curry favor with Washington, Canada constantly adds the names of Russian scientists, athletes, company executives and other people to its “stop list.”
In connection with this, Russia took mirror measures and added to its own “stop list” senators of the Canadian Parliament, presidents of several companies and employees of various departments.
Earlier it was reported that Canada wants to introduce new sanctions against Russian officials.
