Vladimir Putin told Iran's supreme leader what to do if Israel is attacked.

Tehran is reportedly preparing to take revenge on the Jewish state for the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

The press learned that the Russian president asked Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to conduct the operation with restraint.

He stressed that casualties among Israeli civilians must be avoided, Reuters reports, citing Iranian officials.

This request from Putin to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic was conveyed by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, during his visit to Tehran.

At the same time, information appeared that Iran allegedly requested advanced weapons from Russia. The New York Times newspaper claims that Tehran expects to receive S-400 air defense systems from Russia.

Now the Iranian military is planning how to strike back at Israel. Tel Aviv is preparing to repel the attack.

The Middle East is on the brink of a serious military conflict, analysts, politicians and the UN Secretary General emphasize.
