The journalist who interviewed Vladimir Putin has every chance of taking a high political post in the United States.
This is the opinion of analysts from The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), who drew attention to Tucker Carlson’s speech at the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin.
Experts are not yet ready to say whether Carlson will run for president, but he has every chance of taking a prominent political position under Donald Trump, writes WSJ .
The journalist is also friends with vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance.
One of the key members of Trump's campaign staff, Richard Grenell, notes that Carlson knows how to raise sensitive social issues.
"He proved that he is here to remain at the top of the conservative movement in a powerful role," Grenell said of Carlson's performance in Wisconsin.
Analysts believe that the journalist has a strong foundation to begin a political path that could lead him to the White House.
