It has become known what the Hungarian Prime Minister's visit to Moscow may mean for him.

It is possible that representatives of EU governments may subsequently declare a boycott of events organized by Viktor Orban.

This opinion is expressed in a new publication in the Politico newspaper.

As the article notes, signs of hostility towards Hungary for Orban's actions are already appearing in Europe.

For example, the official representative of Hungary to the European Union, Balint Odor, was harshly criticized the day before for statements that were called unprecedented.

Moreover, Politico writes that the representatives of the European authorities do not stop there. According to the publication, EU ambassadors openly threaten Hungary with consequences if it continues to follow the course chosen by Orban.

In particular, it is not excluded that among these consequences there may be a boycott of meetings organized by the Hungarian side in the EU. This idea, in particular, was supported by the heads of the EU foreign ministries at an informal meeting.
