The President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov spoke about the new wave of mobilization in Russia.

In his opinion, possible mobilization in Russia is not being discussed.

Peskov explained, as RIA Novosti writes, that no one is talking about mobilization at all.

He also noted that there is no need for a new wave of mobilization in the country.

A Kremlin spokesman responded to a question about whether there were enough volunteers or whether mobilization might be necessary by saying, “There is no talk of that.”

Partial mobilization was carried out in Russia in the fall of 2022. At that time, more than 300 thousand volunteers were called up to the army.

After this, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly spoke about the lack of plans for a new mobilization.
