The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov spoke about declassified archives on negotiations between the Russian leadership and NATO in the 1990s.

He explained that these documents on relations between the Russian Federation, the USA and NATO were declassified and published.

The US National Security Archive has published a new batch of declassified documents, Peskov said in a conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin on his Telegram channel.

He said he had read the published declassified archives, which dealt with negotiations between Moscow, Washington and NATO in the 1990s.

Peskov said that the declassified documents included recordings of conversations that Vladimir Putin had previously mentioned.
