Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban commented on the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in the French capital.
According to the official, the event demonstrated to the world community the West's lack of moral foundation.
During the opening of the Olympics in Paris on July 26, a parody of Leonardo da Vinci's work "The Last Supper" was presented to the audience, as reported by TASS .
Orban assessed the parody as follows: “The West has shown a denial of common culture and public morality.”
Harsh criticism
According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, the opening of the Olympics in Paris did not show the Western public in the best light.
As previously indicated by foreign media, the above-mentioned event was accompanied by many strange events.
Thus, the Olympic flag near the Eiffel Tower was installed on the flagpole upside down.
In addition, many spectators left their stands due to poor visibility.
The announcers presented athletes from South Korea as athletes from the DPRK, which caused discontent among the South Korean public.
