Dmitry Peskov spoke about the elections in the USA.
Vladimir Putin's press secretary responded to accusations against Russia.
In a conversation with The Washington Post, a Kremlin spokesman noted that Moscow is constantly suspected of interfering in American elections.
This is not the first time such accusations have been made, Peskov stressed. "Of course, this is nonsense. We do not interfere," Putin's press secretary said.
The latest wave of rumors was launched by CNN. Journalists reported that the Joe Biden administration allegedly plans to accuse the Kremlin of preparing to interfere in the presidential elections.
CNN, citing sources, claims that officials are expecting a public condemnation of Moscow's actions from the White House.
People have already started talking about this two months before the elections themselves. In the US, they are sure that Russia will allegedly do everything to ensure that Donald Trump wins.
The White House had previously asked Vladimir Putin not to talk about the US elections in public.
