The State Duma did not ignore the previously introduced concessions regarding transactions with the Russian Federation.
According to the State Duma deputy from the party "A Just Russia - For Truth", there is no need to be too deceived and happy about this.
Nikolai Novichkov expressed this opinion in a conversation with RIA Novosti journalists.
We are talking about permission to carry out financial transactions related to energy.
The relaxation will be in effect until April 30, 2025 and includes cooperation with the following financial institutions:
- Central Bank;
- Sberbank;
- VTB;
- Rosbank and others.
Novichkov emphasized that this decision does not look like a strategic decision, so there is no need to be deceived and happy about the relaxation.
In his opinion, this is primarily beneficial to Washington itself, which is well aware of Russia’s importance in the global energy sector.
In addition, the US is wary of the intensive work being done to create payments not tied to the dollar. The sooner it starts functioning, the sooner the collapse of the world reserve currency will occur.
