The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova, stated that the process of returning Russian prisoners of war will continue.
According to Moskalkova, appropriate measures will be implemented.
On her official Telegram channel, the ombudsman published a congratulatory message addressed to the families of servicemen who returned from captivity.
The official wrote: “I sincerely congratulate the relatives of our soldiers who have returned to their homeland!”

Today, August 24, the Russian Ministry of Defense released information that 115 soldiers captured in the Kursk region have returned to the Russian Federation.
The Russian side returned 115 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen to Ukraine.
As Moskalkova emphasized, employees of her department maintained permanent contact with the relatives of Russian soldiers.
The persons in question, according to the ombudsman, had previously approached her for appropriate assistance.
