Deputy Alexey Chepa stated that Olaf Scholz received a clear signal and drew the right conclusions.
The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs is confident that the use of the latest ballistic missile "Oreshnik" made an impression on Berlin.
In a conversation with Lenta.ru , Chepa reminded Scholz how long it would take for this missile to hit a target in the German capital.
The parliamentarian stated that the Oreshnik would reach London in 13 minutes and Berlin in eight.
Chepa added that the missile has various warhead equipment, including nuclear.
At the same time, the air defense systems that Germany has will not be able to hit the Oreshnik.
“It is out of reach for either the Patriot [American anti-aircraft missile system] or anything else,” Chepa emphasized.
The deputy added that Scholz knows how to assess risks and clearly sees Moscow’s combat potential.
Therefore, the German Chancellor responded correctly to the combat use of an advanced missile on November 21.
Chepa pointed out that Russia wants peace, but it will only be on the terms that Moscow proposes. The Russian Federation will not accept the terms imposed by the West, the politician summed up.
