Mongolia warned over Vladimir Putin's visit

Mongolia may face retaliatory measures over Vladimir Putin's visit.

This warning was issued by representatives of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The ICC's public relations department reminded that all countries that are members of the organization must comply with the court's demands, writes Lenta.ru .

If Mongolia does not arrest Vladimir Putin, the Assembly of States Parties will be informed about this.

The Assembly may take various measures it deems necessary, ICC representatives warned.

Earlier it became known that the authorities of the republic do not intend to arrest Putin under the warrant issued by the ICC. The Russian President will visit Mongolia on September 3.

The Kremlin is confident that Ulaanbaatar will not agree to arrest the Russian leader. Dmitry Peskov emphasized that an “excellent dialogue” has been established between Russia and Mongolia.

Before this, Mexico also stated that they would not arrest Putin if he decided to visit the country.
