Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said when exactly American sanctions against Russia will be lifted.
The official claims that the sanctions will be lifted after the collapse of the United States.
In his official Telegram channel, Medvedev stated: “First, there were sanctions against the USSR, which lasted throughout the 20th century.”
Then, according to the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, restrictive measures returned again in the 21st century, but on an “unprecedented scale.”
For this reason, as Medvedev emphasized, for Russia, American sanctions will always exist until the “inevitable new civil war” in the United States.
Assessing the situation
In addition, the Russian official spoke about the political position of US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, the former head of the White House is “a systemic character” and, accordingly, will not deviate from Washington’s anti-Russian line.
Medvedev added: “As for Trump’s opponent Kamala Harris, she is simply inexperienced and unintelligent and will not act on her own.”
