The Chairperson of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko approved with her signature the bill banning childfree propaganda.
It is emphasized that the document will soon be submitted to the State Duma for appropriate consideration.
This information was released by the press service of the upper house of the Russian parliament, as reported by TASS .
The message, in particular, states: “Valentina Matvienko, being a co-author of this initiative, approved it with her signature.”
Propaganda ban
At the moment, it is not specified when exactly the document will be presented to the State Duma.
The upper house of parliament also announced the names of other co-authors of the above-mentioned regulatory legal act.
Among such persons is the Vice Speaker of the Federation Council, Inna Svyatenko.
In addition, senators Liliya Gumerova, Elena Perminova and Alexander Varfolomeev took part in drawing up the decree.
