State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev made a statement recognizing the movement in support of childfree people as extremist.

He advocates for its ban at the legislative level.

"I am in favor of recognizing the movement itself as banned in Russia at the legislative level," Khamzaev said in his appeal to the Ministry of Justice, as reported by RIA Novosti .

The deputy believes that in the Year of the Family, the State Duma and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation need to work out solutions that would prohibit the dissemination of information against family values and the refusal to have children.

Khamzaev believes that the decision to have children should not develop into a movement against it.

The parliamentarian calls the implementation of such a policy unacceptable.

Khamzaev concluded that an association that disseminates these principles should be considered extremist.

It was previously reported that in the Russian Federation, from July 1, violating anti-terrorist protection will result in up to 7 years in prison .
