The German cabinet does not agree with the position of the Czech president on the issue of blowing up gas pipelines.

German government representative Steffen Hebestreit spoke on this topic.

The official called the blowing up of Nord Stream a crime, RIA Novosti reports. This position does not agree with the opinion of the Czech Republic.

Prague considers pipelines a "legitimate target" in the context of a military conflict.

At the same time, Hebestreit pointed out that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has recently clearly expressed Berlin's position on this issue, including in negotiations with the Czech Republic and Poland.

Scholz and other members of the German government describe the incident as a crime that must be investigated.

Russia expects Berlin to provide details of the investigation. But Germany is in no hurry to disclose details.

Because of this, Moscow officially presented claims to Germany regarding the investigation into the explosion of gas pipelines.

The Russian authorities intend to seek negotiations regarding the Germans' fulfillment of their obligations in the area of countering terrorism.
