The head of Georgia stated that she will not go for questioning to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic.
The agency summoned Salome Zurabishvili in connection with the case of alleged falsification of the parliamentary elections held on October 26.
During a briefing on Wednesday, October 30, the President of Georgia stated that she does not plan to go for questioning to the Prosecutor General's Office, TASS reports.
The interview with the investigator is scheduled for October 31. But Zurabishvili said she will not go to the interrogation: "Everyone must do their job."
She explained that her presidential duties have not been cancelled, so she will continue to do her job.
At the same time, the politician is confident that the results of the parliamentary elections were allegedly falsified.
But the president has no evidence. She said she cannot provide it, but she is sure that the Georgian Dream party won by deception.
An investigation is underway into this fact. Zurabishvili, as the president of the republic, was summoned for questioning, but she made it clear that she would not appear for a conversation with the investigator.
