Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said he was disappointed with relations with the United States.
According to the official, Tbilisi expects Washington to take steps to stabilize the situation.
Kobakhidze emphasized: “The American side must outline a move toward resetting contacts with us,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
The Georgian Prime Minister announced this information at a meeting with representatives of the United States government.
Georgia's comment
As previously reported, Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Congressman Mike Turner made a working visit to Tbilisi on August 9.
The above-mentioned persons communicated with the Georgian leadership and during the dialogue touched upon the discussion of various issues.
At the end of July this year, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the US was freezing the financial assistance program for Georgia.
The reason given was the adoption of a law on foreign agents by official Tbilisi.
