Georgian Interior Ministry opens criminal case over ballot stuffing

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened a criminal case due to an incident at a polling station in Marneuli.

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, reported that voters threw ballots into the ballot box.

He noted that the committee condemns this incident and will not allow anyone to destabilize the situation, RIA Novosti writes.

Kalandarishvili added that the CEC will receive explanations from the election commission from this precinct.
